A house fire left two people dead and nine others displaced late Saturday morning in Trenton, according to authorities.
Officials say a call reporting the blaze on South Cook Street was made just before 12 p.m.
At least one female resident managed to escape the flames by jumping from a third-floor window. She is in stable condition.
The displaced individuals are receiving help from the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
