2 injured in Bridgeport fire that forced 8 families from their homes

Two people were taken to St. Vincent's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Eight families are without a home after a fire broke out on the 3000 block of Main Street in Bridgeport.
The fire started around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on the second floor of the building, according to the Bridgeport Fire Department.
Crews were able to put out the flames in about 35 minutes.
Two people were taken to St. Vincent's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Red Cross is helping those who were displaced.
