Two firefighters were seriously injured but are expected to be OK after battling a fire inside the Forest Houses, a NYCHA complex.

Three other people were injured, one of them seriously.

The FDNY says the fire was reported on the sixth floor.

It took about an hour to get the fire under control, but FDNY remained on scene throughout the morning.

The cause remains under investigation.
