        Officials: 2 Bergen County men arrested for holding victim hostage with a needle in motel

        Brandon Bialek, of Lodi, and Kevin Bazemore, both known to the victim, allegedly detained the individual for more than two hours in a motel room.

        Two Bergen County men are accused of holding a victim hostage with a needle at the Rodeway Inn in Secaucus, according to police.
        Secaucus police say Brandon Bialek, of Lodi, and Kevin Bazemore, of Hackensack, are both known to the victim. Police say they allegedly detained the individual for more than two hours in a motel room.
        Police say the victim managed to call 911, prompting authorities to respond. Police officials say the officers found drugs in the room as well.
        “Nefarious acts at our hotels will not be tolerated,” Chief Dennis Miller wrote in a statement. “These arrests are a vivid example of how the various divisions and units of the Secaucus Police Department work collaboratively to support one another toward our common goal, and I am extremely proud of their work.”
        Both men now face multiple charges, including kidnapping
