Several fire crews from around the region responded to a two-alarm fire that broke out at Dakota Supply, a masonry and landscaping supply company in Montrose.
News 12 crews saw masked emergency response vehicles from Ossining, Peekskill, Briarcliff Manor and Hartsdale responding to the scene around 1 p.m.
Responders told News 12 that they believed some type of chemical or diesel was inside one of the structures on the property. A HAZMAT team was brought to the scene, according to one of the fire personnel.
        No injuries have been reported.
Dr. Richard Becker, the supervisor from the Town of Cortlandt, said crews were trying to use foam to extinguish the fire.
The Cortlandt train station is located across the street from the supply company. Officers shut down the west entrance during the response and encouraged riders to use the south entrance if they needed to access a train.

All the firefighting activity shocked a man named Larry who was watching the response play out from a hospital across the street.
"I'd seen smoke from up at the VA…I heard the sirens. I was laying, watching a movie, and next thing I know, they got all this going on," Larry said.
