An 18-year-old Brick man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Wall Township, according to police.

Emergency crews responded around 5:36 a.m. to Squankum Allenwood Road after getting reports of a crash. They found a heavily damaged 2006 Honda Civic in a wooded area off the westbound lane.

Police said the teen, who was the vehicle's only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name was being withheld pending notification of his family.
