A teenager is accused of shooting at a moving vehicle in Hampton Bays.

The 17-year-old male targeted the driver on Red Creek Road near Dewey Lane, police say.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening.

The vehicle had multiple bullet holes, but neither the driver or his passenger were injured, according to Southampton police.

The victim was able to provide the identity of the alleged shooter, who is known to him, and he was located after an extensive search of the area.

The teen suspect is facing felony reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon charges.

Police are not releasing his name because he is a juvenile.
