Early voting started this weekend, and across the state people were going to the polls.
We are eight days away from the election. After just two days in the early voting period, 135,075 people have cast their ballots.
That's more than the entire early voting period in 2023, according to Lt. Gov. Tanesha Way.
On Saturday in Wayne, voters wrapped around the public library and the municipal complex.
Another deadline is coming up, and that's for applying for the mail-in ballots.
Tomorrow is the last day to apply by mail.
You can apply for a mail-in ballot in-person to your county clerk, until 3 p.m. the day before the election.
