A 13-year-old boy is in critical condition after getting hit by a car in Borough Park.

Police say the accident happened on 38th and 15th avenues. The teen was crossing the street when he was struck. He has head trauma and was taken to Maimonides Medical Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
