The FDNY says one firefighter was injured while battling flames in a supermarket fire in Bed Stuy.
Crews responded to a fire at a supermarket at 1263 Fulton St. at around 5:40 a.m.
About 79 fire and EMS personnel responded to the fire and are still on scene. It took crews almost an hour and a half to get the fire under control.
Investigators say the fire started on the first floor and spread to the above walls.
The Department of Buildings was called on scene. They say the building is a mixed-use building and the fire displaced upstairs tenants.
DOB investigators say the fire caused significant fire, including a partial open roof and charred joists.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
