Police say a woman was stabbed in the hand at the Carroll Street subway station.

Officers responded to the station in Carroll Gardens just after 1:30 p.m. Monday.

EMS took the 35-year-old woman to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she is expected to recover, according to the NYPD.

Police sources say they are looking for a man who attacked the 35-year-old during an argument.
