We're drying out, but the wind sticks around this weekend. Travel troubles are possible for the end of Thanksgiving week. Here's what we know so far about our next storm.
Lingering drizzle and showers will taper off by late morning with peeks of sunshine expected for the rest of the day. Behind the rain is a strong wind from the NW at 20 mph. A few gusts could reach 40 mph this afternoon. High temperatures today will reach the low 50s, but it will feel cooler in the wind. Overnight tonight is mostly clear and breezy with lows in the 40s.
Sunday starts off sunny, but a few clouds will return in the afternoon. Winds will reach 20 mph with gusts up to 30, but temperatures will be a touch warmer - in the mid 50s. Mild temperatures return on Monday and Tuesday. Highs will reach near 60. A big cool down arrives for the end of the week.
Light showers are likely Monday night into Tuesday morning, but the bigger threat is a storm system shaping up for the end of the week. A storm system will bring rain and wind Thursday through Friday. Highs are only in the 40s and could be cold enough for winter weather conditions in our cooler neighborhoods to the north, west, and higher elevations. There is a lot of uncertainty regarding the track, so this forecast is not set in stone. Check back for the latest. The forecast will be much clearer by early next week.
