The New York Knicks historic run to the NBA Finals hasn't just galvanized the fanbase. It has also helped boost local business.
Bars like Blind Rhino Black Rock in Bridgeport have been packed for watch parties throughout the playoffs. Local delis are also cashing in.
Bagelman in Danbury is selling "The Brunson" - an egg and cheese sandwich with a hash brown and chipotle mayo. One can even order it on an orange and blue bagel made fresh every day on the premises.
"We sell a lot of them," says Bagleman owner Dave Tarantino. "People love it."
Knicks fans are convinced this is their year to bring home the title.
"Sports are one of the few things in this world where it bring everybody together," says Dan Koveleski, a Knicks fan. "It's a uniting force that brings, not only people across the nation together, but small communities even closer together."
