Some Brewster schools are closed Tuesday due to a power outage.

Brewster High School and JFK Elementary will remain closed for the day, along with the district’s universal pre-K programs at those locations.

Henry Wells Middle School and CV Starr Intermediate School are on a two-hour delay.

Officials said the outage was initially resolved early in the morning, but a utility pole snapped again, cutting power to Brewster High and JFK Elementary and impacting transportation operations.
