Elevated areas north of I-84 could see a brief period of wet snow and ice mixing in before going to all rain on Thursday morning.
The morning commute will be mild enough to see just plain rain fall. Roads will be wet through the afternoon.
The rain will taper off in the afternoon, but more showers may pick up in the late afternoon and early evening with the passage of the cold front. Anywhere from a ¼ to ½-inch of rain is possible.
Friday will be a cooler and windy day. This cooldown is brief because Saturday will be warmer again with a chance of rain.
Colder air will move in behind the showers for Sunday. Winter comes back briefly as the new week begins.
