Suffolk County police say they arrested a Mastic man who they say inappropriately touched three children at a Medford store on three separate occasions.

Officers arrested 44-year-old Jimmy Harry Velasquez Gomez on Main Street in East Islip, after detectives say he inappropriately touched a 9-year-old girl at a T.J. Maxx on Horseblock Road Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.

An investigation determined Gomez did the same to a 7-year-old and an 11-year-old at the same store back in April 21 and Sept. 25, according to detectives.

Gomez was charged with three counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

He was being held at the Third Precinct as of Saturday night.

Gomez is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday.
