        Memorial Day weather dampens beach weekend finale on Jersey Shore

        While businesses in beach communities thrived with the great weather on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, they are now hoping for enough cloud breaks to keep shoregoers engaged.

        The Jersey Shore enjoyed three perfect beach days to kick off the Memorial Day weekend, but today the weather is not as cooperative.
        While businesses in beach communities thrived with the great weather on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, they are now hoping for enough cloud breaks to keep shoregoers engaged. They are concerned that persistent rain and clouds might drive people to pack up and head home early.
        Belmar business owners report a great season start for everyone, from local municipalities to bars, clubs, restaurants, and boardwalk businesses.
        On this Memorial Day, as we honor and remember those who lost their lives fighting for our freedom, let's hope Mother Nature gives us one more good day to get the parades in and celebrate in true Jersey Shore style.
