Many restaurant chains and retailers are offering discounts for veterans and active military personnel on Veterans Day.

From free meals to free haircuts! Here are some popular Veterans Day deals and discounts
Many restaurant chains and retailers are offering discounts for veterans and active military personnel on Veterans Day.  
Here’s a sampling: 
Applebees - Veterans can enjoy a free full-size entree from a selection of eight fan favorites.
Buffalo Wild Wings - Past and present military personnel can get free wings at Buffalo Wild Wings on Veterans Day. With identification, military members will get 10 boneless wings and fries. The offer is good for dining in at Buffalo Wild Wings and take-out.
California Pizza Kitchen - All veterans and active military receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage and choice of one entrée from their prix fixed menu.
Carrabba’s - Year-round, Carrabba’s offers 10% off to veterans and first responders. 
Chili's - Veterans receive a free meal, in-restaurant only.
Cracker Barrel - On Nov. 11, veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary dissert.
Dunkin’ - Year-round, Dunkin’ honors military service members with a 10% discount on their coffee and doughnuts at participating locations.
Golden Corral - Military Appreciation Night will be held on Monday, Nov. 13 from 5 p.m. – close. They will once again be honoring our military heroes with a free “thank you” meal.
Great Clips - On Nov. 11 veterans and active service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card for a future visit. In addition, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips salons will also have the opportunity to pay it forward. They can receive a free haircut card to give to an active service member or veteran they know as a way of saying thank you. The cards can be redeemed for a free haircut from Nov. 12 through Dec. 1.
Home Depot - All military personnel and Veterans are eligible for a 10% discount at all Home Depot store locations.
Joe's Crab Shack - Veterans and active military can receive 20% off on Veterans Day.
Lowe’s - The retailer offers a 10% everyday military discount on most full-price items to extend their gratitude to those who have served, or are currently serving our country in the U.S. armed forces.
Kohl’s - The retailer is offering active and former military personnel, veterans and their immediate families 30% off in stores Veterans Day weekend - Friday, Nov. 11 through Sunday, Nov, 13 - with a valid military ID.
Mattress Firm - Veterans and active duty military receive 10-20% off purchases with valid ID at participating locations.
McCormick & Schmick's - Veterans of the U.S. Military, National Guard, Gold Star Parents and Gold Star Spouses can enjoy a select half priced entrée on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2020.
National Parks - Over 100 national parks will waive admission fees on Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day. 
Red Robin - The chain offers discounts to those who have served.
Starbucks - Veterans, active duty service members and military spouses, enjoy a free tall hot brewed coffee.
Target -  Active duty and other veterans and their families receive a 10% discount on a purchase, in stores or online, in early November. 
Walgreens - Get 20% off eligible regular price items with myWalgreens in store only.
White Castle - The restaurant chain is offering a free individual combo meal or a breakfast combo meal to all veterans and active-duty service members
Some discounts are not available at all locations, check before you head out!
